Research Associate/Fellow in Intelligent Modelling & Analysis

Operational Research for Context Aware Intrusion Detection

The successful candidate will investigate the potential of a variety of novel artificial intelligence and modelling methods, with an emphasis on artificial immune systems, in generating the most appropriate techniques for a range of anomaly detection problems. As this is part of an EPSRC Advanced Fellowship project, the person appointed work closely with the Advanced Fellow, Professor Uwe Aickelin.

Candidates should hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD in a subject related to the project.

Salary will be within the range £23,002 - £33,780 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience (£25,135 maximum without PhD). This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of three years.
