======================================================== CFP -- Computational methods for privacy protection: New issues and trends

J. of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems (SI) ======================================================== Publishing microdata entails issues concerning how to release information without that privacy policies are compromised. Methods of Computational Intelligence, such as approximate reasoning, evolutionary algorithms and fuzzy logic, offer new and not yet fully exploited opportunities to discover threats and protecting data. The special session and issue aim at providing a forum to discuss and present open problems, new issues and challenges in the re-identification and attribute disclosure problems, new computational models and algorithms. Works, going beyond tabular data, concerning privacy issues in social networks and mobile computing are also in the scope. Presentations providing the exchange of ideas among different research communities are encouraged. The aim of IJUFKS Special Issue is to collect high quality papers, following the CMMSE 2011. Submission to Special Issue is not bound to Special Session, but we hope Special Session can be a preliminary and interesting forum to discuss issues and ideas. Reviewing will take place according to the standards common at IJUFKS.
