Dear colleague, The 4th International Conference of the ERCIM WG on COMPUTING & STATISTICS (ERCIM'11) will be held in London on 17-19 December 2011. The venue will be the Senate House. Please, for details visit
http://www.cfe-csda.org/ercim11/ We are organizing a track on "Imprecision in Statistical Data Analysis". Particular topics for contributions are: * Statistical inference techniques for set-valued and fuzzy set-valued data. * Imprecise models in data analysis. * Fusion methods, uncertainty propagation. * Dempster-Shafer theory of belief functions. * Use of possibility theory in Statistics. * Imprecise probability models. * Computational advances involving imprecision in the statistical methods. * Applications involving imprecision in the statistical methods to Biomedicine, Finance and Economics, Social sciences and Psychology, Environmental sciences, Technology, etc. Full papers containing a strong computational or data analytic component will be considered for publication in a Special Issue on "Imprecision in Statistical Data Analysis" of the journal Computational Statistics and Data Analysis. You can submit your abstract at http://www.ercim.cfe-csda.org/submissions/ Important dates: Abstract submission for invited and organized sessions: 15 July 2011. Contributed abstract submission: 15 September 2011. Conference: 17-19 December 2011. Submission of full papers (optional): 15 February 2012.
