SAIT is looking for talented research scientists in the field of intelligent computing.
Located in South Korea, SAIT—the central R&D institute for Samsung Electronics and the Samsung Group—develops the seed technologies that will lead Samsung’s future business ventures.
SAIT’s Intelligent Computing lab is seeking top-notch research scientists in the following fields:
- machine learning & artificial intelligence
- data mining
- information retrieval
- big data analytics and platforms
- visual and audio data analysis
- medical image analysis & CAD
- biomedical informatics
- natural language processing
- semantics technologies
- affective computing
- large scale distributed storage systems
- operating systems (file system, memory management, virtualization, etc.)
- data management (caching, deduplication, high availability, etc.)
- distributed system modeling and simulation
- flash memory based storage
New members of our team will participate in advanced research in the above fields, be actively involved in the research community via publications and other contributions, and have ample opportunities to develop solutions for real-world, large-scale problems. We expect our members to be leaders in their respective research fields and technology communities.
Requirements:
- A proven track record of research achievements including publications in premier journals and participation in conferences is required
- A Ph.D degree and research experience in a relevant academic field is required.
- A Ph.D in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, EE, Biomedical Engineering, or Computational Biology is preferred.
- Research experience in world-class institutes would be a plus.
- Strong communication skill is required.
