Hi everyone,

The deadline for submissions to the 2013 NIPS workshop on "Topic
Models: Computation, Application, and Evaluation"
(http://nips2013.topicmodels.net) has been extended to *October 23*.

Thanks
Topic models workshop organizers

*The call for paper is below:*
=======================

The workshop, titled "Topic Models: Computation, Application, and
Evaluation", will feature panel discussions, contributed papers, and
invited talks by Anima Anandkumar, Alex Smola and Dave Blei. The workshop
will be co-located with the NIPS conference at Lake Tahoe, on either Dec 9 or
10.

Four-page papers in NIPS format are due* Oct 23* (extended from Oct 9th).
We particularly encourage submissions that relate to one of our three core
areas:

* Algorithmic improvements and new theoretical perspectives on complexity
and computability.
* Exciting new application areas, which may apply existing techniques to
new problems.
* Evaluation methods that focus on real-world user needs.

For more information, see the workshop website at
