[Apologies for cross-posting] The 8th International Probabilistic Planning Competition (IPPC) will run this year with four tracks. There will be *discrete* MDP and POMDP tracks
https://cs.uwaterloo.ca/~mgrzes/IPPC_2014/ and *continuous* MDP and POMDP tracks: http://users.cecs.anu.edu.au/~ssanner/IPPC_2014/index.html The previous Discrete IPPC in 2011 drew a record 11 competitors and many competitors (including the first and second place finishers) released their source code (including UCT, RTDP, and PBVI algorithms), all available at: http://users.cecs.anu.edu.au/~ssanner/IPPC_2011/index.html A warm-up competition to test software infrastructure will be held in Mar 2014 with a final competition in May 2014. The Discrete track will follow the framework based on the RDDL language used in 2011 with a few minor rule changes. The Continuous track will use the recently developed RDDL2 language -- rules and language restrictions for this competition will be shaped by the competitors and their requirements. Participant input for both tracks is highly encouraged. **If you are *interested* in participating or suggesting/contributing domains, please email the organizers of each respective track before Feb 15, 2014 and join the email list for that track (info at above web pages). Thanks, Scott Sanner, Marek Grzes, Jesse Hoey, Dan Magazzeni
