The School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh seeks a Lecturer in Data Science (rank is equivalent to Assistant Professor in other countries) to join the Institute for Language, Cognition, and Computation to expand our breadth, complementing existing expertise. Applications are encouraged from researchers in algorithms for very large scale data science --- storing, accessing and deriving information from large-scale streams of "unstructured" data, applied to areas such as social media analysis, very large scale streaming text processing, and machine translation.
