The Data Analytics Research group in the Rolls-Royce@NTU Corporate Laboratory at Nanyang Technological University has research fellow and research associate openings in the areas of Data Mining and Machine Learning.
The positions involve conducting research on mining spatial-temporal computational fluid dynamics (CFD) data, designing novel scalable and effective algorithms to obtain valuable knowledge from the data, and developing prototypes to demonstrate the successful application of the research. The positions are for 2.5 years, starting immediately. Salary is competitive and negotiable based on experiences. Job requirements: (1) Master/PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline with a focus on Data Mining or Machine Learning; (2) Research experiences in designing and developing machine learning technologies; (3) Good programming skills in e.g., Python, Matlab, C++; (4) Expertise with CFD background, knowledge, and the experience of using Machine Learning for CFD data analytics is a plus.
