I have a funded PhD position on the applications of Machine Learning to Big Data and / or Bioinformatics. First year of the PhD program will be fully funded. Funding from second year (in the form of GTA/GRA) is possible upon availability of funds.
The ideal candidate is required to have good GPA, GRE and TOFL scores. In addition, good programming skills in Matlab and Python is required. Preference will be given to candidates having strong mathematical skills and who have done course work in some of the following: Machine Learning, Data Mining, Probabilistic Graphical Model, Deep Learning.
