*Overview:*
Online learning is a subfield of machine learning dealing with problems
that involve interaction with the environment. It studies problems like
investment in the stock market, personalization, ads placement on the
Internet, robotics, and many more. It deals with continuous streams of
data, handles non-stationary environments, copes with adversarial
opponents, and addresses many other challenging practical problems. The
Online Learning Summer School will focus on theoretical foundations of
online learning and will feature lectures by world-leading experts in
the field and practical sessions.
