A new tenure-track position in Statistical Machine is currently available at the statistics group of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway. The position is an Onsager Fellowship and has a very high prestige at our university. The successful applicant is expected to serve as a bridge between machine learning and the existing research activities of the statistics group, and the world-class research group in Bayesian computing in particular. The candidate will be employed as an associate professor for 6-7 years and will be evaluated for a permanent full professorship after this period.
