PostDoctoral Research Scholar Opening at NCSU

Dr. Yi-Hui Zhou’s Lab for high dimensional predictive biology at North Carolina
State University is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in Machine
Learning. The mission of the lab is to promote and facilitate improvements in
the predictive methods for high dimensional integrative biology, including but
not limited to precision medicine. This position will be co-advised by Dr.
Cynthia Rudin at Duke University.

Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will collaborate with biological scientists (NCSU),
statisticians/computer scientists (NCSU, Duke) and other collaborators to apply
predictive machine learning methods to experimental and observation biomedical
data. The candidate will study, research and develop advanced analytical models
to provide insights to enable efficient decision making. The candidate will
develop computational and visualization tools to improve prediction for a
variety of datasets, including medical and microbiome data.
