All fixed now. I was making a request to lovefilm.com and that was being redirected to www.lovefilm.com (I hate sites that do that) and in the process the query string was being broken. Changing my command to go directly to www.lovefilm.com removed the redirection and fixed the problem. So if you want to search the lovefilm site from Ubiquity, now you can. http://dave.org.uk/ubiquity/lovefilm.html Any suggestions for improvements are welcome.
