When I read the title it did indeed sound absurd, but after reading your article it actually makes sense. Nevertheless I'm sensing this could bring some real security concerns since it probably would be difficult to make sure that this copy between two service providers was made in a secure way. I think the difficulty would probably not be so much in putting a command together to instruct service A to copy something to service B. The problem is that service would have to know your service B credentials and would have to be able to establish a secure conduit to execute the copy. But since you seem to be dedicated to the area of cloud computing, you probably also know more about this than I do.
