Unfortunately, "real" debugging is currently difficult with Ubiquity, though we're trying to make it easier. At the moment, if you're using Firefox 3.0, you don't even get accurate filename/line number reports when exceptions occur in your commands (!), but that will be fixed soon.
One of the ways we're trying to skirt around this issue is with the development of the Web Page Feed Plugin, which Aza has written about here: http://www.azarask.in/blog/post/a-new-way-of-writing-ubiquity-commands-feedback-needed/ We actually have a primitive version of the WPFP in the beta releases of Ubiquity, if you'd like to give them a try. The big advantage of them in regards to debugging is that you'll be able to use Firebug and other content-space debugging tools/techniques to develop your commands. Let me know if you're interested in this kind of thing and I'll give you more information on how to play around with them. - Atul On Mar 1, 12:26 pm, Irakli Gozalishvili <[email protected]> wrote: > Not sure if you'll be able to debug cause i dont think you're able to > debug sandbox with venkman.
