Hey guys, I was just reading this blog post by David Humphrey:
http://vocamus.net/dave/?p=395 He talks about a set of guidelines for marking Bugzilla bugs as "good potential projects", meaning good potential projects for students. Thinking along similar lines, what do you guys think of adding a "good-for-beginners" keyword to bugs in Ubiquity's trac system that would be "low-hanging-fruit" style tickets that would be useful for beginners to work on? It could lower the barrier to entry for new contributors to our source code. Mitcho has actually already marked a few tickets as "good-for-beginners" here: https://ubiquity.mozilla.com/trac/query?status=accepted&status=assigned&status=new&status=reopened&order=priority&col=id&col=summary&col=status&col=type&col=priority&col=milestone&col=component&keywords=~good-for-beginners Thoughts? We'd also want to make it easy for newcomers to ask questions, too. - Atul --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ubiquity-firefox" group.
