Yes, in the near future this type of input will hopefully be supported, as a consequence of the semantic roles proposal and the new parser design: https://wiki.mozilla.org/User:Mitcho/ParserTNG The idea though is that the parser itself will be able to identify different kinds of arguments, match them to noun types, and to then compare their salience to the verb (or to suggest appropriate verbs). In the future under this type of parser with some better nountypes for "time" or "duration," it should become very easy to write this type of verb.
