The core email code has moved on since the gmail-apps tweaks worked, and nobody has updated the tweaks. I've just re-installed Ubiquity after a hiatus, and found that even Ubiquity is different. When I get some time, I'm going to have a go at re-splicing the gmail-apps code back in.
