Ah, yes. It seems to be capturing some output from exactly the command I'm issuing. I guess that's a Firebug question then: "How do I not trigger the console coming up because I really just don't care to debug any Javascript I happen to be using?" :) I'll take it up with the Firebug people; thanks for your help tracking this down!
