This happens to me as well. No images posted in my new e-mail, and I can't get the contacts list preview when commanding "email this to..." Let's say I want to send an e-mail to [email protected]. I type "email this to exam" and it should appears the e-mail of this contact, but it doesn't.
However, it seems that using "quick-email" command from Feedly add-on, the contacts preview works but not the images. Weird, huh!
