I actually modded it so it works in 3.6, here is how
1- Download the version of Ubi. you want to use (Save link as...) 2- change the file extension to ".zip" 3- open the file, in there will be a file called 'install.rdf', open that file with notepad 4- look for line 16 which says something similar to "<em:maxVersion>3.x.x</em:maxVersion>" 5- change the line to this "<em:maxVersion>3.7</ em:maxVersion>"(without the quotes) 6- save it and it back to your zip file, the rename the whole package to its original name (.xpi) 7- drag the .xpi file into a firefox window and install it from there if you need more help let me know On Feb 20, 12:48 pm, Christian Sonne <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Asa. > > This recent blogpost explains what's going > on:http://jonoscript.wordpress.com/2010/02/18/quick-update-on-ubiquity-a... > > Best regards > -- cers / Christian Sonne > > On Sat, Feb 20, 2010 at 6:38 PM, Asa <[email protected]> wrote: > > I just got Firefox 3.6 and ubiquity will not run > > > -- > > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > > "ubiquity-firefox" group. > > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > > [email protected]<ubiquity-firefox%[email protected]> > > . > > For more options, visit this group at > >http://groups.google.com/group/ubiquity-firefox?hl=en. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ubiquity-firefox" group.
