Hi Dylan. I've got a lot of questions for you. Please post answers to as many as you can - thanks.

I don't understand why, but I guess I don't need to. > > Are the arrows your own work, or pulled from somewhere in particular? Yes, the green arrow is the "go-next" icon from the Tango Icon Library > The reason I'm asking is because I need to be better with keeping track > of licenses, so may as well do it 100% by giving credit _wherever_ > possible :) Yes, I read that and I'll try to find all the license info. > > Where did that nifty icon for Help come from? It is the "help-contents" from the Mash-up icon set. I've already contacted the author of Mash-up and asked him for the source. > > I have something really preliminary up here: > https://code.launchpad.net/~ubiquity-slideshow/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu/madsrh-layout I'm not into coding at all, so I'm not used to working with Bazzar, branches, trunk, push/pull or what ever you might throw at me. > I have implemented your background picture, bullet points and (sort of) > a bottom right aligned icon. I would suggest that you ask for help, since this project needs to be ready for feature-freeze. Ask the ubuntu-website team, I'm sure there is a lot of geniuses that want to help out. If you want I could post a short announcement? > > The icons themselves still need to be re-done to match your style. What icons? Do you want to use the "original" ones or the ones I used in my mockups? I will create mockup for the remaning images as soon as I get have to time. > How are you doing the nice reflections on those icons? I think getting the reflections and shadow to work in SVG would take a lot of work. I suggest using a solid .jpg image like I illustrated in the HTML test in my previous post. I know there a problem with the image being on top of the text, but I'm sure there's a work-around. Alternatively, we could use transparent .PNG files (that would be easier to move around), but I believe the file-size will increase tremendous. > Should probably hold back a bit on making /all/ the icons if they will > need to be done manually, since it could make sense to shrink these or > move them around a bit. > > > Many, many thanks.
