"From the start, Ubuntu connects to online chat and broadcast services
including Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live and Google Talk."
This sounds like ubuntu automaticaly connects to facebooks and starts sharing
what you are doing.
It would probably be better to say some thing like:
"From the start, Ubuntu is able connects to online chat, and broadcast services
including Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live and Google Talk."
