This smells like bug #657728. Again, it is very unlikely that this is a problem with the slideshow since it is just a content package and the Debian packaging there is dead simple. Where are you encountering this error message? Is it at some point in the installer?
Unfortunately, I can't understand the error message. Google Translate tells me it says “can not remove the file info…” The input/output error _is_ a litlte strange. Could you please run ls /var/lib/dpkg/info/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu.md5sums …and let us know what happens? There should be a file there if ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu is installed, and if there isn't something is wrong.
