ubuntu-default-settings in Precise does not support slideshow customisation. Precise also has a slightly different slideshow format comparing to the one used in Raring.
I cannot find the source of Ubuntukylin slideshow (untranslated html + gettext .pot and .po files) anywhere. https://code.launchpad.net /~ubuntukylin-members/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu/ubiquity-slideshow- ubuntu is not up-to-date and seems to be abandoned. I made a branch of ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu and have completed the backport of your translated slideshow (en_US, zh_CN, zh_TW) , which was downloaded from lp:ubuntukylin-default-settings, to Precise. We found that the latest version of “ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu” package in Ubuntu Precise is 58.2. Is it possible to backports from a later version?
