Title: Should grab Ubuntu release from /etc/lsb-release or /cdrom/.disk/info Status in “ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu As updating the slideshow for a new release does not happen right with the opening of said release, it would be nice if the slideshow grabbed the version number it is going to display from lsb-release or .disk/info.
