Could put one of these in front of an MT switch.

If you don't need them for their POE functionality, some Mikrotik CRSes may do.
THey seem to be generally available.

Subject: [Ubnt_users] Urgent edgswitch availability - Ebola response

Hi all - thanks for the responses.

Spoke to streakwave this morning and they have no EdgeSwitches in stock, and
none in the pipeline from the factory.

Yes - cost is definitely a factor, especially given that in this case equipment
deployed within Ebola treatment centers may end up having to be destroyed or
soaked in chlorinated water for 1 minute for health and safety reasons.

I've heard some mixed opinions about ToughSwitches, otherwise I'd be going
straight for the 16 port toughswitches. Given the concerns about power load
I've seen on this list, and that the cost of the 16 port toughswitch is
basically the same as the 24 port 250W edge switch...I was originally thinking
to go with EdgeSwitch, though looks like supply chain may kill that. Would love
to look at Netonix, but those seem very hard to get in quantity as well.

My requirements are basically:

    * suitable for rackmount or hasty tabletop deployment
    * AC power ok, but must be a path for possible -48VDC deployment (was
thinking to invert via rackmount inverter)
    * easy user interface
    * easy sharing / loading of premade config files
    * sufficient wattage for a minimum of 5x AirMax devices, but capacity for
more is nice to have
    * reasonable cost

I often do custom built / DIN rail / NEMA enclosures - but here because of the
logistical difficulties and the varied skill levels of technicians I really
need to minimize the number of components to ship and assemble. Hoping to find
a fully COTS solution.

Would be curious to hear opinions on what people feel are more reliable and
easy to configure /use for low level technicians:

    * Digital loggers
    * ToughSwitches
