I have the Samsung gear fit. It is not the full blown watch.
Simple display connects via Bluetooth, shows clock, current temp / weather status as pulled from Accuweather app. Shows number / name of who is calling or sent a text. Can reply with pre-canned message via text. Used for pedometer, hiking, biking, walking w/ gps track back to phone, Meeting reminders, can show e-mails also ( I do not use this feature) I have not played with any android programming these are the built in features. I have not tried this with another phone but I think it might be Samsung proprietary.
