The airfiber needs a special arrangement of injection - specifically it needs power on all 4 pairs.
There are a few injectors out there which do this for the airfiber. Tycon makes one. We make one... see http://store.packetflux.com/sitemonitor-gigabit-poe-injector-for-airfiber/ . You can also use some of the gigabit surge+injection cards from wbmfg. -forrest On Thu, Dec 25, 2014 at 9:22 PM, Ken Patrick <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > Has anyone powered an Airfiber5 from DC. can you share your setup? > Is it passive poe? > > Regards > > _______________________________________________ > Ubnt_users mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.wispa.org/mailman/listinfo/ubnt_users > >
