Does anyone have edge switches or routers deployed in very dusty or extreme
dust environments? The kind where you tap on the switch very lightly and a
cloud of dust comes out!
We've had Cisco switches running for over 7 years in such environments and they
just keep ticking (we've extracted piles of dust before over 4 inches tall and
wide on a desk- from still working switches), Would like to hear from anyone
who has run them in similar environments for periods of time, fan reliability,
overheating issues, etc.
Thanks!
