Just not actually using all of the 80 MHz, while throwing efficiency stones in a glass house.

Faisal, The FCC has channel pair designations for the smaller channel sizes. We included those channel sizes if people wanted to coordinate links for smaller channel sizes if that was the best they could get for the towers that they have. Keep in mind smaller channel sizes might be the only thing available which are specifically allowed that is right on the edges of the 10.7 - 11.7GHz range. So why not provide that to customers? 50MHz and 56MHz are channels sizes that are configurable for our platform and are designated for the 80MHz allowance. Keep in mind that our channel sizes achieve extremely high throughputs and use maximum power out for our radios. Regards, -- Alex Pavlos Ubiquiti Networks, Inc. Based on the FCC page there is a request for Emission designation at various channel sizes. 3.75Mhz / 5Mhz / 10Mhz/ 20 Mhz / 30Mhz / 40 Mhz /50Mhz / 56Mhz / 80Mhz but the test report only tests up to 56Mhz channel size ? What am I missing here ? And I am curious why the 3.75Mhz/5Mhz/10Mhz channel sizes ? Regards.
