When we switched from legacy ubnt non ac radios on the sectors to the ubnt
airprism gps ptmp. We originally had ubnt 120 degree sectors with non ac m5
radios, then switched to ubnt 60degree sectors with non ac radios, i did not
like the result but they where a little better once we switch from the 120s.
Finally we made the leap to airprism ptmp radios and the results where
excellent. We are getting tx/rx rates of 50+ on 10mhz (AP shows 6x 64qam 2x2)
bands with -65 or better signal levels and throughout is much better, before we
where hesitant to offer 25mbps packages but now that we are i am getting great
feedback from techs and customers. Tower has around 45+ customers.
