OK, here is the deal: On AC gear you need to put the last frequency in your 
list as a non-dfs channel.  If it has detection>detection>detection it will 
indeed jump to a channel outside of your freq list.  You need to set a non-dfs 
channel as the last one to ensure that it doesn't jump to the worst possible 
freq.

Also, many of the firmware versions have issues with tons of false detections.  
We have had the best luck with 7.2.2 or 7.2.4 on DFS channels.  I have yet to 
find an 8.0 beta that works good on DFS, but 8.0b12 has been better than most.  
We try to put most of our AC gear on non-dfs.  However, we have ptp links on 
7.2.2 DFS that have been running for well over a year without a detection.
