I saw these too... A 5 port version would be very nice... In fact I was looking for a 5port POE powered and pass-thru earlier today.

8 port will work...

And the store shows out of stock?

This looks extremely interesting, particularly the PoE model.

Does " auto-sensing PoE ports" mean it will detect and deliver 24 or 48V as appropriate...even for passive poe devices? Or am I misreading

Do you know the expected time this will spend in beta before being available in the main product pipeline in quantity?

    Hey UniFi Users,

For those of you who hadn't seen yet, we're adding two smaller
    switches to
    the UniFi lineup:

    1. US-8. PoE powered with PoE pass through.
    2. US-8-60W. 4x 802.3af PoE ports.

If you're interested in trying these out before they're officially
    out,
feel free to sign up for Beta and buy them from our Beta-only store at
    store.ubnt.com/beta <http://store.ubnt.com/beta> - starting later
    this week.

    Cheers,
    UBNT-Brandon

    Hi all,

I've got several links setup with the new Litebeam 120 sector APs
    and the
Litebeam AC CPEs. One of the links I have shows extremely poor
    transmit
numbers when I run a speed test, but it always shows slow transmit
    problems
depending on which end of the link I'm on. Here's the link

Tower w/Litebeam AP 120 --> Litebeam CPE on shed <-- Shed --> Litebeam
120 mounted back-to-back with CPE --> Another Litebeam CPE on a
    client's
    house.

The Tower->Shed link is about 2.5 miles LOS and sits at about -56
    on both
Chain 0/1, the Shed->House link is less than 1/4 mile and it's
    also LOS
with about a -42 signal on both chains. All devices are running
8.0-beta19, which has been otherwise pretty solid as far as I can
    tell.

If I login to the AP at the tower, I get approximately 6Mbps RX,
    0.75Mbps
to the house CPE. If I login to the house CPE, I get the same
    thing (6Mbps
RX, 0.75Mbps TX) to the AP. If I login to the edgerouter in the
    shed which
bridges the two wireless connections, I get much better results,
    roughly
    25-35Mbps each way.

Has anyone else seen this? I worried the short link was too hot
    at -42, so
I've temporarily turned on the auto power control to see if it
    helps. So
far it has reduced the power, but hasn't seemed to help the end-to-end
    speeds.
