We currently use a Cisco DC powered Layer 3 switch at one of our remote sites. The site has an Emerson DC inverter / battery backup and outputs 48VDC. We power the Cisco switch with 48VDC and use "step down" devices to output 24VDC with POE.
What would everyone recommend as a replacement for the Cisco switch? If the UBNT switches could be powered by DC, that would be ideal. I certainly want Gig ports (which is why I want to replace the Cisco). Regards, John
