I have a 6 mile link and has been running great most of the time(non rain days) for 3+ yrs. This last year was not as good. I have a 5G mimosa backup on the link though. I would not use it for 8 miles though unless you need it now and will replace with licensed before the rain comes. I also have a Trango 24G link and it has never gone down just demodulate at 5.5 miles with 2' dishes.

Hello my flow Ubiquitiens. I’m looking at installing an Air fiber 24 {non HD} on an 8 mile link in south west California with a good line of sight. I’m looking for some feedback on real world experiences. I’m limited in space on the AP side so I’m looking at the non HD as it is smaller and cheaper than HD. Shooting for 500 Megs of true internet traffics download and 100 Megs up. Air link is showing signal of -68, 4X 16 QUM at 500 plus Megs
I’m on the Daily digest list. Thanks for the feedback
