A little more information. The replacements were on our busiest towers. I
estimate that over 600 CPEs were affected. We have been informed by several of
our customers that rely on high speed uploads that they are having problems. So
far it seems to be limited to those with Nano Bridges. Today we were out
investigating and replacing radios that we had complaints on or did not come
back up after the upgrade. .

The interesting thing from looking at AC2 charts is all the NanoBridges gained
from 2 to 6 db gain in signal strength. But some lost a significant amount of
CCQ. Some Didn't.

From quick looks other M5 CPEs did not show the same behavior.

I have one tower with 4 replaced Prisms and loads of older and newer CPEs. I
would say in general that the upgrade went well, but we have not heard from
many normal customers yet. I also have not looked at enough radios yet to draw
hard conclusions (too busy getting down or problem CPEs replaced.)

The replacement radios are powerbeam 5 AC version 2. We are running 8.0.3 on
them and the Prisms. On the M5s we are running 6.0.4.

The new CPE version 2 radios have worked fine so far (only 4). They come in at
the same signal strength as the radios they replaced. Speed tests have shown
they get the speeds they are rate limited to.

It may be that the failures we have seen may have been radios that were near
failure and somehow in the switchover failed. However, they have all been
NanoBridges.

We have heard on the list that WISPs say there are problems or loss of
performance in mixed mode. So far we have not seen that.

I plan to take a deeper look at AC2 this weekend and see if I can determine any
trends.
