hello, On the Ubuntu wiki (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Accessibility/NewSoftware) I found a list of software that people would like to improve in terms of acessibility. One of the software is the Virtual Magnifying Glass, and I am one of the developers, so I am contacting you guys to ask for if people could review it and contribute with ideas, bug reports or even code and package scripts.
As stated on the wiki the website of the project is: http://magnifier.sourceforge.net/ Many improvements were made recently. For example it no longer requires ImageMagick to work or temporary files, so performance is much better. The magnification factor can also be changed on the fly now, without having to deactivate the glass (but I forgot to add a shortcut key for this, so it is only function on the subversion version). Currently we have an rpm package and a plain .tar archive, but no debian package. thanks, -- Felipe Monteiro de Carvalho -- Ubuntu-accessibility mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-accessibility
