Hi Peter et al: I was just doing some testing with this on Ubuntu Edgy with gedit 2.16.1 and OOo 2.0.4-0ubuntu2.
I've got good news and bad news. The bad news is that I was able to confirm that OOo crashes when doing a spell check while Orca is running. Bummer. The good news is that inspecting the text attributes of a word with a red squiggly line doesn't seem to cause a crash. I'll file a bug with the OOo folks regarding the crash. Thanks!
