1) as root run updatedb to build and update the locate data base, 2) as
root edit /etc/apt/sources.list and uncomment all repositories on the
list, 3) as root run aptitude update to get a current data base of
available packages, 4) as root run aptitude dist-upgrade to do an
aggressive upgrade of as many packages to current versions as possible,
5) as root do shutdown -h now and restart the system to take advantage
of all of those updates, Anyone have items to add to this list?
