Hi, I was thinking of downloading the latest live CD. Is speech-dispatcher now the default on the live CD? Second, I am having no luck enabling the root account in karmic. I have tried the custom gdm file, but I must be doing something wrong. I assume enabling the root account is still the best way to get the admin apps to work from the menu in karmic? Mike
