Hi, I was able to edit the gdm custom file on my usb install of ubuntu. But
here is the problem. When I reboot the system the file is replaced. Aparently
gdm settings can't be saved on a usb install because they are probably some of
the files loaded into memory. Strange though, because all of my orca and other
settings are retained. I also found remastersys no longer works in karmic. You
can create discs, but they won't boot.
Any ideas?
Mike.
