Does anyone know what the problem is with speakup in lucid. It worked great for a few days, but stoped working a few days ago. A new install didn't fix this. While I get no speech when pressing keys, when I restart the system from the consul, speakup does start to speak as the system is shuting down. So maybe this is a simple problem to fix? Mike.
