Hello,

I'm still (and in fact more and more) disappointed and irritated to see no
milligram of effort taken to implement the braille support in Ubuntu to
match with some reality:
when someone desired brailel support, why does it requires after
installation to go and set /etc/default/brltty's run_brltty= to yes ?
what is this for an absurdity ?
a) or the person is blind and desires braille support if a brailel display
is detected
b) or he / she isn't blind and then the problem is unexistant.

I'm really tired about seeing things hanging on the level they were a few
years ago: why not resolving them definitely and using a good long term
method ?

BTW launching Orca for the first time is also a problem:
when people have to choose for the right language it talks until infinity,
instead of letting you choose simply by using the cursorkeys up/down:
is this so unrealistic to implemenet such a simple methods ?

Btw why not telling what's teh default at taht moment ?
isn't it OK to press Ok if agree with the default setting ? nothing told it
!

Note: of course I may be wrong on several points: my constatations are made
from an upgraded lts to Lucid, please don't hesitate to correct this if it's
not corresponding to reality;
btw lots of problems from lts to lts, but this is OT here.

I would appreciate any explanations/state of the implementations if there
were some be done.

Labrador
