Hiya, It's that time of the cycle when we want to start thinking about what we want to get done in the next cycle.
For those who don't know the Ubuntu Developer Summit (UDS) happens at the beginning of each cycle to plan out what teams want to get done in that cycle. UDS-Natty Narwhal will be in Orlando, FL, October 24-30. At UDS Canonical employees, community members, and developers from other companies that work with Ubuntu come together to plan the development cycle. There is also the opportunity to participate remotely (I'll post more information about remote participation closer to UDS, when we know when accessibility-related sessions will be). At UDS-M there were 3 different sessions about accessibility and I heard it mentioned in at least 1 or 2 other sessions. I'm planning on proposing a blueprint for what this team wants to get done on the community side of things. (Luke is the person to talk to about with development plans and goals, or post to [email protected] with those concerns) So I'd like to throw it out there: what do we need to get done? what are our priorities to get documented? what can we do with outreach? This is also on the agenda for our meeting next week, but I'm hoping people will be able to come to that meeting with ideas. As well, it means if you cannot attend the meeting, you can get your ideas out now!
