Hi
I know what I'm doing in Linux. It's not the volume. I hear the sound when Unity 3d starts, but no drums before it and afterGNOME's start-up sound, no amount of pressing ctrl-s has any effect whatsoever. It has nothing to do with volume, audio itself works.

Your volume may be turned down. Try waiting until the disk stops
spinning and use whatever you need to to crank up the volume and then
try control+s to start Orca. On my system I get a little ping as I
increase the volume.

Hi
If I wait, I don't hear any drums.

Hi Jacob,

Boot up the disk and wait till you hear drums and then type Control
plus S.

Hi all,
Can someone tell me what the key combination is to get Oneiric's
accessible installer working? It's changed since I've used Ubuntu
last, and the 11.10 accessibility release notes weren't of much help.
What do I have to press at the boot menu to get to the installer
before the ctrl-s key can work?

Thanks
