Unfortunately that is dealing with GTK code that I know little to nothing about, and I don't have time to study the code to get it fixed. It really does sadden me that the bug has been put on the back burner, but at this point for precise, unless someone has a patch ready to go that I could possibly get into Ubuntu, then it will have to stay unresolved.
