Hello, I have tried to change maximum rate of espeak synthesizer in ubuntu 12.04, but without success. I changed values in /etc/speech-dispatcher/modules/espeak-generic.conf But this hadn't changed anything. I can't find any local speech dispatcher configuration in my home directory.
