Hi Luke,
I tryed fixing this issue in espeak main package to revert the sonic
related patch and pulseaudio chunk related patch.
When I downloaded the espeak source package from saucy archive, I ran
quilt pop -a command and remove the two patches with
debian/patches/series file.
I have got a bad news:
After I reverted this patches, not often but some time happening the
wrote issue. If this two attached patches applied with Espeak source
code, the problem happening more often time.
