Hello everyone, In case you didn't know, I am the leader of the Advert Team. I was unaware that my vision and goals for this team were unclear. Well, to start off, we really need a meeting. Polls have been taken and a meeting has been chosen. Please see the wiki page https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuAdverts/Meetings this page will be updated with important info such as this. We do have a website (which is still being worked on).... Everyone must show up to the meeting, if you cannot make it, please let everyone be aware of that. Also, not everyone filled out the Volunteer list on the teams Wiki page. Include your name in the section that you would like to help out with, also, if you feel as if you can lead each team, place your name in the "Project Leaders" section. What I plan for this Team to accomplish is create a "What is Ubuntu?" package. The package will include a wonderful video of what Ubuntu is, documentation, banners (html and others for website or Blog advertisement) and many more, which will also include ideas form YOU. We really have a great, talented team, and we will get alot done. The planed deadline for all of this will be a day before the release of Natty (this could always change). Please also be aware that we have an IRC: #UbuntuAdverts on freenode. It seems as if many people signed up, but only a couple are active. WE really need to get going.
